Google's Ideological Echo Chamber

[edit]

Hi! I just wanted to give you a head's up about the page Google's Ideological Echo Chamber, as it has discretionary sanctions on it. What this means is that the page is very closely watched, more so than with your average article, because it is a gender-related dispute/controversy. Pages like this tend to have people that come to the page and edit war, or continually try to add their content even after it is removed. With discretionary sanctions it makes it easier for people to receive a block or topic ban if they are disruptive. The best thing to do in cases like this is to discuss any concerns or major changes on the talk page to gain community consensus before making the edits.

This may sound a little scary or frustrating, but I wanted to warn you about this ahead of time, in case you were planning on making major changes to the article. If you are, I would recommend progressing with caution with any changes and post your suggested changes or additions on the talk page first.
