Congratulations

[edit]

Congratulations on such a well-written first article!! I would suggest only that the section on the cemetery is a bit over-detailed. Such detail may be of interest to locals, but on the global scale that Wikipedia reaches, it really isn't. I would suggest trimming the list to only those people who actually have Wikipedia articles already, and removing the text following their names -- interested readers can simply follow the Wikilinks. Otherwise, well done!! WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 19:15, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with WikiDan61 - the detail of the people in the cemetry might be a bit too much but otherwise it's a great effort. I've cut a lot of the links down as you're unecessarily having to use piped links e.g. [[Society_for_the_Propagation_of_the_Gospel_in_Foreign_Parts|Society for the Propagation of the Gospel in Foreign Parts]] instead of [[Society for the Propagation of the Gospel in Foreign Parts]]. I suspect this is because you are copying the article title from the URL, but if you copy from the title of article text you don't get all the underscores and it saves you a lot of typing :-) NtheP (talk) 19:30, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:St. James Bristol.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:St. James Bristol.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 20:06, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Cathy, if you took the photo yourself (it looks like it) then edit the page - delete all the existing information and put {{PD-self}} in, this will licence the information. NtheP (talk) 20:28, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Definitely a nice job - I especially like the photos. If you have some extra time in the area, please see Bristol Historic District, it could use more quality photos. All the best. Smallbones (talk) 23:45, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
