(Re: )Your First Saudi State rvv
[edit]My cleanup was NOT vandalism, and I'm shocked that anyone could think so. Remember, ASSUME GOOD FAITH. This was simply an article I came across and saw that it needed to be cleaned up. The English in the article was mediocre and the information was disjointed. I added virtually nothing, and the only real change I made was to alter the slightly POV assertion regarding the aims of Wahhab. Your "reversion as vandalism" is, I believe, completely unwarranted. CenozoicEra 19:43, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
I have restored the cleanup version I prepared. If you have objections, please specify them here or on the Talk:First_Saudi_State page. Thank you. CenozoicEra 21:28, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
- Hello friend , thanx for cleanup First_Saudi_State page , but don't you consider extra words like (Wahhabis , Crusades , Zionists....etc) makes your cleanup edit as vandalism ? cheers
- Ammar 16:24, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
- There is a difference between vandalism and POV. At worst, adding Wahhabism would be POV, not vandalism, and that is certainly not my intention. I understand that the term has some negative connotations, but that is the name of the article that is used in the English Wikipedia. If you think Salafism is a better article to refer to, then by all means change it. You can even delete the link if you think it is not necessary to understanding the article (that's the whole point of Wikipedia). I inserted it only for the purpose of allowing readers to follow the link to understand the aims of Wahhab. As stated, my goal was strictly to improve the readability of the article for readers. Thanks for replying, and cheers to you! CenozoicEra 19:29, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
- Ok you can keep it sir , as long as no one else revert it hehe :) have a nice day Ammar 07:16, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
'North America (Americas)' ... again
[edit]Thank you for weighing in on this prior AfD. Even though an apparent consensus supported the prior AfD in some way, and the article has been deleted, this has reared its head again -- please peruse and weigh in. Thanks! Corticopia 22:30, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

Fair Use
[edit]Hi. All that's needed to save your images from the chop is to add the appropriate template, usually Template:Album_cover_fur, and fill out a couple of details. The main failing of these rationales is that they don't specify what article they attain to. In the case of an infobox - replacing the current rationale with {{album cover fur | Article = [ARTICLE NAME] | Use = Infobox }} is sufficient. I'll do a couple to give you the idea. I know it's a pain in the rear end. Wwwhatsup (talk) 01:31, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:Jesusofcool.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Jesusofcool.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 04:42, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
