Unblock request
[edit]Request denied. Vandalizing Wikipedia is not "harmless fun"; as for "your" user pages, please read WP:OWN. User:RocketmanJP has been blocked indefinitely for vandalism. This account has been used in an identical fashion. Any further administrative action will have to come through the dispute resolution process. RadioKirk talk to me 16:14, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
- It doesn't seem that this user has done much other than edit his pal's userpage. This is not very helpful for the project, but it's also not very harmful (as far as I can see). Permban may have been justified, I don't see it, but I'm not sure. Could be he was just having fun, as he says he was (remember to AGF). At any rate, why don't you let a different admin be the one to deny the request. Blocking and then denying the appeal yourself is not at all fair. We'd like some illusion of due process please. -lethe talk + 17:28, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
- I have changed your block time to 1 week. -lethe talk + 17:41, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
- The reason was sockpuppetry as noted here (user helping permabanned user edit his page). I will, however, defer to your judgment. RadioKirk talk to me 18:56, 8 May 2006 (UTC)

Block reduced
[edit]To Centaursports: As you can see above, another admin has reviewed your block and has reduced it to one week. Upon your return, please read WP:SOCK to learn why assisting a permanently banned user with any activity on Wikipedia—"harmless fun" or otherwise—is considered sock( or meat)puppetry. We hope you will stick around and be a productive editor; we are, first and foremost, here to write an encyclopedia. RadioKirk talk to me 19:30, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
