I have been trying to make the "Home Inspection" page found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Home_inspection more accurate. I noticed that the only home inspection organization referenced in the "North America" section was the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI). Since the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI) is the largest home inspection organization in North America and globally, I changed the page to reference InterNACHI instead.

However, the page was changed back to reference ASHI and desiring accuracy, I changed it back to reference InterNACHI. This caused the other editor to make defamatory statements about InterNACHI as can be seen in the history of the page.

Once again, desiring accuracy and wanting to end the edit war, I made a change to the page but this time referenced the three largest home inspection associations in the United States and Canada. These are: InterNACHI (USA and Canada), ASHI (USA), and CAHPI (Canada). However, the page was changed once again to exclude InterNACHI.

I would like for this page to be accurate and it is not when InterNACHI is excluded from the "North America" section. I am new to editing on Wikipedia so I hope the right thing to do is post my point of view here to clear things up.

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on International Association of Certified Home Inspectors, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Scapler (talk) 01:05, 17 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Home inspection. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. OhNoitsJamie Talk 14:46, 17 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of InterNACHI, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://ca.nachi.org/southerncalifornia. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page.
