The article Grandy Glaze has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. reddogsix (talk) 02:38, 23 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Better referencing

[edit]

Charlie, when you write articles, it's very helpful for the references to be attached to the actual statement. The usual format would look something like this:

Here is my statement of fact<ref name="Jones">[http://website.com Jane is the best ever] Jones, Adam The Newspaper Times January 1 2015</ref>
Notice that I included both the URL and a description. Websites suck, they don't keep their pages online, so we need this information to find the source again in the future.

If you need to use the same source for a second statement, you would then do it this way:

Here is another fact<ref name="Jones"/>

The result looks like this: Here is my statement of fact[1] Here is another fact[1]

  1. ^ a b Jane is the best ever Jones, Adam The Newspaper Times January 1 2015

This makes it a lot easier for future readers to review the article.

Thank you for editing, and welcome to the Wikiverse. Oiyarbepsy (talk) 05:58, 19 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Eduardo Cortes

[edit]

The article Eduardo Cortes has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Hasn't received significant coverage nor played in a fully pro league match. Therefore the article fails WP:GNG and WP:NFOOTBALL.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Club infobox dates

[edit]

Hi, when updating club infobox stats you should update the |club-update= or |pcupdate= parameter by adding five tildes (~~~~~), which generates the specific time the update was made. Thanks, Mattythewhite (talk) 20:17, 18 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
