I removed the things that were taken out of context. If you have read the entire reference you would understand. Calling this vandalism is far from realistic and misleading Child of God357 (talk) 21:28, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No, edit summaries like "improve readability" and "fix inconsistent" are misleading, as it's not an accurate description of what you are doing. For the record, I did read the reference, in which he specifically criticizes the corruption in three different places in the article. ("And I have really come very close to losing all hope for Armenia in the last few years because the degree of corruption," "Diaspora has been a source of easy money for Armenia and easy money is really what breeds the worst kind of corruption in a weak institutional environment as Armenia's," and "So if we improve the state, if we weaken the corruption incentives of the state, I think other sectors can go the same way.") Your edits removed that information with any sort of logical argument as to why you were removing the information. Making edits with misleading summaries is not tolerated here, so I advise that you stop if you do not want to lose your editing privileges.
