Image Tagging Image:Solanus1.jpg[edit]

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Solanus1.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. feydey 23:28, 11 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

King Legit's Talk page[edit]

Hi, I noticed your recent comment on the User talk:King Legit page. Please bear in mind that every person on Wikipedia has their own opinions and no matter how upset they make you, they are entitled to them. Please try and be civil at all times as being uncivil can cause more offence that can eventually lead to a ban. Also note that Wikipedia operates a no personal attacks policy and again this occurrence can be viewed as a personal attack. Please calm down. -Localzuk (talk) 11:05, 12 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Chaldean[edit]

Although I do not dispute some of your arguments, you have called Assyrians racists and keep reverting the article Chaldean to an old version. It is community consensus that we have one article on the common heritage of Aramaeans, Assyrians, Chaldeans and Syriacs. Now, you may dispute this on the talk page, but it is unhelpful to keep reverting. According to WP:3RR you will be blocked if you continue to revert this article. — Gareth Hughes 17:31, 11 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You obviously created the page Chaldean Ethnicity to get around consensus. You must work with others on Wikipedia, and not continue to create pages to your own liking. — Gareth Hughes 18:46, 11 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Massabki.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Massabki.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 02:06, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

Please don't add copyrighted text to Wikipedia[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate your creation of the article, The Blessed Three Massabki Brothers, but we cannot accept copyrighted text borrowed from other web sites or printed material. Please see Wikipedia:Copyright problems for more information on this topic, or generally, Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines. Please do not remove the copyright violation notice placed in the article or repost the suspected infringing text. However, if you would like to rewrite the article in your own words, follow the link in the posted notice to create a temporary subpage. If your new article is appropriate, and not a further copyright violation, the reviewing administrator will move that new article into place once the copyright status of the original has been resolved. Happy editing! — Gareth Hughes 11:49, 26 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Also — Please do not remove maintenance notices from pages unless the required changes have been made. If you are uncertain whether the page requires further work, or if you disagree with the notice, please discuss these issues on the page's talk page before removing the notice from the page. These notices and comments are needed to establish community consensus about the status of a page. Thank you. — Gareth Hughes 11:49, 26 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

no more[edit]

I no longer wish to have this account on wikipedia, i want to delete it and never use it again. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Chrisch59 (talkcontribs) 00:21, 27 June 2006.

I have restored the messages blanked from your user talk page as they refer to ongoing problems with the use of material owned under copyright by others as your own work. It generally is not policy to blank user talk pages even when the user wishes to leave — see Wikipedia:User page#How do I delete a user subpage? Please do not remove messages from your talk page. Talk pages exist as a record of communication, and in any case, comments are available through the page history. You're welcome to archive your talk page, but be sure to provide a link to any deleted comments. Thanks. — Gareth Hughes 23:35, 26 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Saint George Chaldean Catholic Church[edit]

This article has been tagged for deletion because it has no actual content, only weblinks to other sites. Wikipedia does not accept articles which consist only of links elsewhere. Fan-1967 23:49, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yet another image uploaded without valid copyright tag - i this case you asserted that the author ha released all rights. They had not, and they complained to the Wikimedia Foundation about violation of copyright. Please be more careful in future. Guy (Help!) 19:54, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
