The article Gainesville Middle School has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable middle school

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Eeekster (talk) 02:58, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Pwc soe ref requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article consists of a dictionary definition or other article that has been transwikied to another project and the author information recorded.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Patriot High

[edit]

I guess you can if you think it should be removed. I just added it because it already has a page created. It's up to you though. Trunks719 (talk) 03:44, 24 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Are u thinking about deleting the page for Patriot High School also? Trunks719 (talk) 03:46, 24 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Gainesville Middle School. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Gainesville Middle School. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:12, 16 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Warren Williams

[edit]

Hi Chuck, You were right. I own the original Acetate recording that Warren made to launch his career in 1959. In fact I have it listed on eBay at the moment. In researching this item, I have accumulated sufficient information to include it on Wikipedia. So thanks, and I'll post you a copy before I put it up to get have the benefit of your experienced eyes and hopefully some good criticism. Cheers, 143.238.104.4 (talk) 09:35, 19 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have started an article for him. See Warren Williams (rock musician) --Chuck369 (talk) 17:44, 19 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

West Virginia Community Colleges template

[edit]

Pardon me for being a bit terse, but I don't see the point of Template:West Virginia Community Colleges. You've taken a simple navbox used in only a handful of places and made it rather complex with little benefit as far as I can tell. What exactly are you planning? Brian Powell (talk) 05:14, 26 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Brian, I just have not made all the changes yet. I made the list of schools a template because the list is used in several other articles, including List_of_community_colleges#West_Virginia, West_Virginia#Education, and West_Virginia#Colleges_and_universities. --Chuck369 (talk) 14:27, 26 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Chuck, the template makes it much harder to maintain the content and locks editors in to a particular formatting style due to its complexity. It's not as if this content is being used in that many places and including main article content (as opposed to navbox elements and the like) is definitely non-typical usage. I think it would be much better to just leave things as they were. The template is a neat programming trick but will just be a headache in the long run. Brian Powell (talk) 14:45, 26 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I will remove the change. --Chuck369 (talk) 14:48, 26 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Samantha Sang

[edit]

FYI. Samantha Sang has always said for "media" reasons her DOB is 1953. In fact it is positively 1951. Tinkerme2 (talk) 11:03, 30 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Tinkerme2, I have not been able to verify your statement. Can you provide a reliable source? Also, from Wikipedia:Verifiability,

The threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth—what counts is whether readers can verify that material added to Wikipedia has already been published by a reliable source..., not whether editors think it is true.
