Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that the username you have chosen, "Cinefringe", seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of a group, company or website. Please note that Wikipedia does not allow usernames that are promotional or appear to be shared by multiple people. Please take a moment to create a new account or request a username change that represents only yourself as an individual. You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and remember that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. JamesBWatson (talk) 19:11, 3 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article CineFringe Film Festival Selections has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence at all, either in the article or found in web searches, of satisfying the notability guidelines.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. This page is meant to be similar to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Sundance_Film_Festival_award_winners to provide more information on the main CineFringe page, which is currently awaiting approval. Please let me know what I need to do to stop it being deleted. I can provide links to the film programmes, but they are all based on the CineFringe website [1]. Is this a problem? Alternatively I can send hard copies of programmes.

A tag has been placed on CineFringe Film Festival selections, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. MikeWazowski (talk) 21:04, 3 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Is it possible to make this article a draft again until I receive confirmation the main page has been approved? This page wasn't meant to be published without it as it has no context.
