Speedy deletion nomination of Kingdom of Juclandia[edit]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Kingdom of Juclandia requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} at the top of the article, immediately below the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate), and providing your reasons for contesting on the article's talk page, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

You may want to read the guidelines for specific types of articles: biographies, websites, bands, or companies. Yworo (talk) 15:26, 15 December 2010 (UTC)

OM NOM NOM!

By the way, if you need any help, let me know! --Slashme (talk) 07:37, 19 June 2012 (UTC)

It's definitely possible to write code to generate the Westminster-style diagram. How generally would it be used, and would all the use cases be able to use similar diagrams? At the moment I'm kept really busy with my day job, so I don't know whether I'd be likely to code it any time soon. I still have the code to generate rectangular diagrams, so it would probably be a relatively minor modification. Can you write python? If so, you might like to modify it. I last looked at the code years ago, and when I looked at it now, I found it quite readable and short. I guess what needs to be done is to define three blocs: one for each side of the diagram and one for the neutral seats, and then go through the same basic layout code three times. I am willing to help debug to an extent, and if I get sufficiently bored at some time in the future, and get nagged sufficiently, I might even do it myself. --Slashme (talk) 18:23, 23 June 2012 (UTC)

I was thinking the same (for slightly different reasons). The columns will be removed and renamed respectively. --ES Vic (talk) 18:29, 11 December 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for April 14[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited North Korea, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page State (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

:D — Kr1st1deejay97 (talk), 4 noiembrie 2014, 18:18 (EET)

April 2017[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give 2017 United Kingdom General Election a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you.
