Please do not suggest historical lies[edit]
Check the history of Polish city of Poznan, once, not for a long time, occuped by Germany ! Your text "now called Poznań" suggests something quite opposite. And be kind to discuss changes, especially in a delicate subjects. --Grb16 (talk) 05:11, 10 June 2016 (UTC)
Because it may be sensitive I tried to draft carefully. Certainly and undeniably Poznan has a long and rich Polish history. When it became part of Prussia in 1793, Prussia was not a nation state, nor was the German Empire at that time. The town from then on was called Posen. After WWI it became part of Poland again, now called Poznan, only the latter I mentioned. Thus I only wrote how the town was called when the person referred to in the article lived there and that it is today called Poznan. I would very much appreciate if you took back your accusations. --Claddinger (talk) 08:34, 27 July 2016 (UTC)
