Boolean algebra[edit]

I think your recent edit to Boolean algebra and your merge proposal for Boolean algebra (logic) and Two-element Boolean algebra are based on the misunderstanding that the latter is about a mathematical field rather than a specific mathematical structure. Therefore I have reverted them. I hope you don't mind.

We clearly have too many Boolean algebra related articles. It's not clear that the 2-element BA needs its own article, but a far better merge target would be Boolean algebra (structure) because it's actually an instance of that. --Hans Adler (talk) 14:01, 27 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, your edit http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Economic_surplus&diff=294493605&oldid=prev removed a source from university lecture notes, and replaced it with a differing, unsubstantiated statement. Could you please find a reference for your statement, or at least add "Citation needed" to encourage someone to find one. I am not an economics expert, but the source you deleted made more sense to me than the statement you added. I tried all day to find english or american referencies. I don't know if it is % successfull. You'll say it. For the New algebra, I tried to enrich the translation and ask help where I could. Before you start advertising the Ads on hundreds of talk pages, can you get some consensus somewhere that this is in any way useful? Lengthening the topmatter on those highly frequented pages just because should be avoided, and I don't see the usefulness of those pointers at all.

I found the ad here cute, but I suspect it can get old. Given that's hidden by default, I don't see much harm, but a poll somewhere, e.g. in one of the Wikipedia:Village_pump notice boards, is probably justified if you plan to change a lot of pages like that. Abstract Stone Duality[edit]

Whilst ASD was inspired by Stone duality, it is not an accurate representation of either of them to use one as a redirection for the other, especially when the one mention of ASD is in non-classical analysis.

Since ASD is original research by essentially one person (me), it would be contrary to Wikipedia policy for me to write about it, whilst no-one else is qualified to do so. So I blanked your redirection, but several busibodies have since repeatedly reverted it.

I have therefore, under protest, written a minimal article about ASD (not a stub, as I am not inviting anyone else to add to it), but I would prefer not to have any article at all.

Please reply directly by email, not via Wikipedia.
