I have no way of verifying your assertion that you are a colleague of this person at Radio 1. Regardless of whether or not that is the case, you are vandalising one of our articles (or at best adding unverifiable and WP:UNDUE trivia for your own amusement, which amounts to the same thing), and wasting the time of our volunteers. I’m not saying I work at radio 1, I’m saying that they were on about nicknames today and one of the presenters said that his nickname would be pocket, and then said as Vick Hope is on holiday let’s play a joke and call her pocket when she gets back and change her Wikipedia page to say her nickname was pocket Cole9619 (talk) 17:40, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

That has also now been reverted, and I have protected the page to prevent further vandalism from unregistered users and new accounts. 'Anyone can edit' is intended to imply that anyone can make good-faith edits to improve the project; it does not mean that our project is open to anyone to insert silly vandalism as a joke. We have over six million articles - can you imagine how much effort it takes for our volunteers to monitor them and prevent people like you doing daft like that? I'm not asking you to reply, I'm just explaining to you why 'jokes' like this are harmful to this project. We've had to protect the articles of all three of these presenters, preventing good-faith contributors from making actual improvements and soaking up volunteer time.
