July 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Dammit Janet!, but we cannot accept original research. Original research also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. -- Doniago (talk) 23:17, 21 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

April 2013[edit]

Please do not add or change content, as you did to Cameron Diaz, without verifying it by citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Elizium23 (talk) 00:13, 2 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hey buddy, slow down a little bit, your category is seemingly valid, although perhaps trivial, but your category adds are not. They lack reliable secondary sources and may be original research as you have been warned before. I am going to revert you now. Elizium23 (talk) 00:14, 2 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Adam Levine. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Elizium23 (talk) 00:17, 2 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Invitation: WikiProject Autism[edit]

Greetings! You are hereby invited to WikiProject Autism, a collaborative effort to improve the coverage of autism, Asperger syndrome, and Autistic culture on Wikipedia. As the project emphasizes contribution from autistic editors, it is especially interested in you, who have chosen to list yourself as a Wikipedian with Asperger syndrome. Hello. What's the point of this category? What does it mean? What language is it referring to? What sources are you using for such surnames?--Brianann MacAmhlaidh (talk) 22:44, 25 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Another thing. I've noticed you've added many inappropriate language cats into surname articles. For example Reynolds is an English-language name, not Irish. The Irish form is Mac Raghnaill. Maybe you should slow down a bit, review you edits and compare them to your sources.--Brianann MacAmhlaidh (talk) 23:06, 25 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Buddy. It's just vandalism now, and this is your first warning.--Brianann MacAmhlaidh (talk) 00:44, 26 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The cat you probably want is Category:Anglicised Irish-language surnames. The surname Coffey is an example - it's an Anglicised form of the Irish Ó Cobhthaigh, Ó Cathbhadha, Ó Cathbhuadhaigh, and Ó Cathmhogha.--Brianann MacAmhlaidh (talk) 01:10, 26 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for October 4[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of Sigma Alpha Epsilon members, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Joseph Strauss. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Ethnicity[edit]

Please don't add ethnic categories not supported within articles (in other words, no text cited to reliable sources) or ethnicity parameters to infoboxes of subjects not noted for their heritage. Nationality parameters aren't really needed either for subjects with only one citizenship. See Template:Infobox person#Parameters for more.
