Hi - it has come to our notice that you have recently created a new stub type. As it clearly states at WP:STUB, at the top of most stub categories, on the template page for new Wikiprojects and in many other places on Wikipedia, new stub types should be proposed prior to creation at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Proposals, in order to check whether the new stub type is already covered by existing stub types, whether it is named according to stub naming guidelines, whether it reaches the standard threshold for creation of a new stub type, whether it crosses existing stub type hierarchies, and whether better use could be made of a WikiProject-specific talk page template.
In the case of your new stub typ, it does not reach the standard threshold for creation of a new stub type, and the category for it is extremely poorly named. At the very least, it will need to be renamed, although it is possible that the stub type as a whole will be deemed unnecessary. Your new stub type is currently listed at WP:WSS/D - please feel free to make any comments there as to any reason why this stub type should not be proposed for deletion at WP:SFD. Hi. I assumed it would be fine, if not beneficial, as this stub type was on the stub sorting to-do list. Thus, I figured it had already been proposed and accepted. I used the exact name on the to do. Also, sister categories exist in most national "buildings and structures" categories. I would be happy to change the name or anything else about it, though, if you let me know how to do so. Ahhh edit conflict - I just discovered that and was altering the second paragraph above to reflect that. The template has the correct name, but the category should also have been like the other categories in Category:European sports venue stubs. As it is, the category will be speedily re-named - don't worry about it (technically, it's got to go through WP:SFD for that to happen, but because it's speediable that will only take a day or so) - don't worry about changing it yourself. Basically, it would have been better to leave it to a member of the stub-sorting WikiProject (whose page it was listed for creation on) - it would have been created pretty soon. It's good that you're interested in doing some stub-sorting work here and theree, but it's probably beetter to concentrate on populating existing categories rather than making new ones!
