Your recent moves
For your information, I have reverted your recent moves/renames of the following articles:
- Coronado, California
- El Cajon, California
- Imperial Beach, California
- La Mesa, California
- San Marcos, California
- Santee, California
First, you never did enter a reason in the move page form. Second, [[City, State]]
is the current naming convention for cities in the United States. Third, there is currently no other city, town, or community in California named "Coronado", "El Cajon", "Imperial Beach", "La Mesa", "San Marcos", or "Santee". Thanks. Zzyzx11 (Talk) 05:37, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
Image:Fashion valley.jpg listed for deletion
The images on http://www.transit-rider.com/ are copyrighted. The notice reads that you can licence the images — for a cost of $45 (see [1]). As such, this image isn't freely licensed, and can't be used on Wikipedia without a Fair Use rationale (which would require it to be a lot smaller in size for one thing.) Image tagging for Image:Dangeroustatualter.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Dangeroustatualter.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

Image copyright problem with Image:Sandiego sprinter.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Sandiego sprinter.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
. If you have not already done so, please also include the source of the image. In many cases this will be the website where you found it.
Please specify the copyright information and source on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Can't Undo 19:30, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
Because those logo images fall under the Wikipedia's policies concerning fair use images, they cannot be currently used on that article under Wikipedia:Fair_use#Policy item #8. They clearly do not specifically identify this article's subject, nor do they specifically illustrate relevant points of the text in such a way that they absolutely, positively need to be included.
