President Cup Malaysia team and season articles[edit]

Since you seem to be pretty new as a contributor here on Wikipedia, I'd thought I give you some friendliy advice regarding the creation of new team and season articles, especially in relation to your recent work on various President Cup Malaysia-related articles.

Please do not add any season-specific data to the general article of a competition. If there is a sufficient amount of content, create a new season article like 2011 President Cup Malaysia and put all relevant data in there. As for how to structure the layout of these season articles, please refer to 2010 Finnish League Cup or 2010 Deildabikar. Like the President Cup seasons, these competitions consist of a group stage with an enclosing knockout tournament; any new President Cup season articles hence should look roughly similar like these two articles.
When creating new season articles, please do not create a new page with just an infobox in it as this may result in the article being deleted due to a lack of context and/or content. Include a few sentences about which competition the season article belongs to, the begin and end dates and information about either the winners of the respective year or the defending champions. For details, please refer to the Finnish League Cup and Deildabikar articles mentioned above.
Please do not create new team articles which consist of player lists only, as these may be deleted due to a lack of context. Since the participating teams in the President Cup are the U-20 teams of Malaysia Super League and Malaysia Premier League clubs, I would suggest to add any rosters to the respective main articles as a subsection under "Players", similar to Manchester United F.C.#Players.
Finally and most importantly, ADD AS MANY REFERENCES/SOURCES AS POSSIBLE to every article. This is usually done by adding the following structure to a statement: <ref>[http://www.somelink.com Link title and further information]</ref>. Providing references is one of Wikipedia's core policies, in order to ensure that the content of the articles is true and does not contain any errors. Unsourced articles may be subject to deletion.
