Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Coryeaves, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Artifex Pereo, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or any other editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One firm rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! The problem is that the two references that you incorrectly removed only review Christian bands. So you might want to clear your genre up with them. Walter Görlitz (talk) 23:14, 5 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Example

[edit]

I suggest you look at Kye Kye for an example of my work of a band that are made up of Christian's but are not a Christian band, and see how they went about clarifying it to the masses.HotHat (talk) 02:33, 6 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Artifex Pereo. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. Walter Görlitz (talk) 04:31, 6 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Publications notifications

[edit]

I just emailed Jesus Freak Hideout, New Release Tuesday and Indie Vision Music to make sure they know you all are not a Christian music band, so they may not cover your music in the future. See, JFH does not cover The Fray anymore, so we will see what they do.HotHat (talk) 04:48, 6 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Question

[edit]

Are you all Christian's? This will in no way impact me putting you into a Christian genre on your band's Wikipedia page. So, Do you all believe in Jesus Christ? Please, I so hope you answer this simple request of mine.HotHat (talk) 04:23, 7 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Artifex Pereo

[edit]

Hello Coryeaves. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Artifex Pereo".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Draft:Artifex Pereo}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Rankersbo (talk) 10:46, 16 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
