Tip of the day...

Fansites, forums, & other web page articles

When creating articles on forums, fansites, or other webpages, remember that Wikipedia has two notability requirements for these types of articles. These requirements are:

1. The content itself has been the subject of multiple non-trivial published works whose source is independent of the site itself
2. The website or content has won a well known and independent award

While a particular website need not meet both of these requirements, it should meet at least one of them.

Managing a conflict of interest

Hello, Courses4horses. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
• propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
• disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
• avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
• do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
