Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia. Jay Σεβαστόςdiscuss 03:44, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. I apologise if the above template about vandalism is incorrect. I will assume that you are acting in good faith. However, please be aware that all articles on Wikipedia need to have reliable sources to backup any claims made within. In particular, biographies of living people, or any content that refers to living people must conform to these standards. In other words, if you would like to make further additions, please do, but cite a reliable, independent secondary source. Do leave a comment on my talk page if you require further help. Best regards, --Jay Σεβαστόςdiscuss 04:43, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 07:55, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you make personal attacks on other people again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Jay Σεβαστόςdiscuss 07:57, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Personal attacks[edit]

Hi there. I'm going to warn you one more time: Please don't make personal attacks against other editors. I am happy to discuss any matters with you, but please address the content not the contributor. Regarding your other comments, there is clearly no way I can "prove" you are or are not a listener of the show in question. That is why we have a policy of verifiability, not one of truth. Only then is content deemed encyclopaedic on Wikipedia. I suggest, again, that you look at WP:BLP. Best wishes, --Jay Σεβαστόςdiscuss 08:27, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I suggest you look into your accusations a little bit further before you start threatening to ban me I really don't care if you do it's simple you won't look at the proof of hand it to you because you're a troll so go ahead And ban me cuz I'll just create another account And keep adding to the Russ Martin show and so will all the other listeners and this is not an attack on a user this is me using my constitutional right to express my opinion have a good dayCraizie cracker (talk) 09:04, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

you have no proof that anything me or other users have posted on the Russ Martin show page Is false so therefore you have no right to delete oUr post so you're just as guilty aswer so I ask you again replace everything you have deleted off of Russ Martin show page do not tamper with it again unless you get a complaint from a user or Russ Martin showCraizie cracker (talk) 09:17, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

SPA / COI /advocacy[edit]

Hi Craizie cracker

Your account is what we call a "single purpose account" (see WP:SPA) on the basis of that, and the nature of your edits, I am providing you notice of our COI guideline and Terms of Use. Please read the following - I have a question for you at the end.

Information icon Hello, Craizie cracker. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies. Note that Wikipedia's terms of use require disclosure of your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you.

Questions[edit]

Managing conflicts of interest and advocacy of editors, is important for maintaining the integrity of Wikipedia and the public's trust in it. Additionally, companies or organizations that edit Wikipedia on their own behalf, can get bad press for that. Please see Conflict-of-interest editing on Wikipedia for some examples.

Would you please disclose your relationship to Ross Martin and his show, if you have any? Thanks. Jytdog (talk) 09:19, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

My relationship to the Russ Martin show is a listener and a donator to his foundation there is no conflict of interest and if you listen to the show you hear they got a good laugh out of whatever gets posted on the Wikipedia page and everything I or the other listeners post is true or it is stuff picked up from inside the show so in other words edits we make is nothing more than show content and like I told Jay unless y'all have prove that everything we post or edit is false you have no right to delete have a good dayCraizie cracker (talk) 09:28, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks very much for replying. OK, you are a fan of the show. Please do read our essay on advocacy and try hard to restrain your enthusiasm, and to be neutral and calm in your editing, and in your interactions with other editors. This is not some blog, where it is OK to flame people. That is not OK here.
This is the encyclopedia "that anyone can edit", but it is not the wild west - we have policies and guidelines that govern content and behavior, and editors who violate them a lot, get banned. So please, discuss content, not contributors (see the policy about no personal attacks and the talk page guidelines) and base your arguments about content on our policies -- no original research (you cannot just make stuff up here); WP:VERIFY (everything has to be based on reliable sources); and neutral point of view (articles cannot be "fan pages" nor "attack pages" - they have to reflect what reliable sources say, and give the most space and prominence the same way reliable sources do). What a "reliable source" is, is described here: WP:RS. It would be great if you would read all of those links, so you understand how Wikipedia works.
as you are new here, it would be a good idea if you ask questions if you don't understand why someone did something. there is a lot to learn!
good luck! Jytdog (talk) 09:44, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks too for letting us know that Ross talks about his article on the show. I'll make sure there is a note about that on the article Talk page. Jytdog (talk) 09:51, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
