Speedy deletion of Blackthorn Theatre Company

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Blackthorn Theatre Company requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. TrulyBlue (talk) 21:48, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Page moved

[edit]

How did you move the page of Tommy End (Wrestler)? PedigreeWWEFigz87V2 (talk) 18:03, 17 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there,

under 'More' on desktop there is the option to move. Made sense as he's not going by Aleister Black any more so confuses the article. 2001:BB6:79D:B500:880:FC20:EB4F:380F (talk) 18:07, 17 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I have added further references and will continue to do so after the fact once the article has been fleshed out. The campaign receives significant press coverage which I will add as I progress the article.

Appreciate your time. CryingHero (talk) 13:41, 21 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi CryingHero, I just reviewed your followup submission. I think the key piece here is this: Have there been any news articles or other independent coverage about the campaign itself, as opposed to mentioning it (for instance) having congratulated or urged action from a public official? If there are such articles, I'd urge you to cite them and make them a prominent piece of the article. If there are not, it may be difficult or impossible to publish an article that meets Wikipedia's standards. Another option, though, might be to work on a more general article, such as cycling in Great Britain (or a new article on bicycling in Ireland), and mentioning some of the things this campaign has worked on in that article. -Pete Forsyth (talk) 02:01, 19 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The reason left by MaxnaCarta was: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: Not a notable topic.
