Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of name and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Cabayi (talk) 09:08, 21 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

My appologies as I was hoping just to save the edited content and not actually publish the content today. It kept asking to leave and contents may not be saved, so I just tried something to at least save the content as it was so that I can continue working tomorrow. This was an accident from my view, but if my username is inappropriate, I have changed to "Intumit AI". If "Intumit AI" is still not good, I do hope some advice as I am also very new to here and is my first ever post as well.

Decline reason:

"Publish changes" simply means "save changes", it does not mean "publish this to the encyclopedia". It used to say "save changes" but was changed for legal reasons, to emphasize that all edits to every page on Wikipedia(policies, drafts, etc.) are visible to the public. In your case, your edit was likely seen in the Recent Changes feed. Your choice of new username is also not acceptable; please review the username policy; your username must indicate that a specific individual is exclusively operating this account(your real name is not required, just something unique). If you want your company name to be a part of your username, you may format it as "YourName of IntumitAI". Regarding the block itself, you have violated the conflict of interest and (possibly) paid editing policies. You won't be unblocked to, in the short term at least, edit about your company. If that is your only goal here, this is the end of the road for your Wikipedia career. If you are interested in being a general, individual contributor, please tell what other topics you will edit about that are unrelated to your conflict of interest(like the history of your country, or George Washington, or science, or anything else). I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 09:47, 21 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The requested name also breaches the username policy and it appears you intend to continue publicising your company. Cabayi (talk) 09:44, 21 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

My sincere apologies again as I didn't read the username policy carefully before. To comply to your username policy which is not used for promotional purpose. If there are any other violation, I will be happy to comply. Again, my sincere apologies as I just started this today... I will start searching some contents before I post after this incident as I can. EDITTED afer seeing new message from 331dot::: I just saw another reply above as I was typing this message. I will start deleting the history, operation, and product and work on these when I am ready with the actual contents. And I did read the paid editing just now, which I am not. I'm an employee of this company. My interests are in AI and Technology, so I may want to participate for those contents.

Decline reason:

No. As you've been repeatedly told, you won't be unblocked to do this. Sounds like this is your only goal here, so this is the end of the line. Yamla (talk) 13:37, 21 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I hope to appeal again. 1) as mentioned in the beginning, this was my first ever post and was unaware of the total structure although I did check several, for example "Asus" or "Wistron" which followed the same pattern. I do apologize and I do understand it is totally my fault for not doing entire research from scratch on "how to post in Wikipedia" to begin with either. 2) This is not a paid editing or paid contribution. 3) I understand one of the reason for the block is due to my username, which now I changed to a more unique username to comply to your username policy. 4) I understand the suggestion 331dot gave for the username change, but to comply further, I have updated to a more unique username. 5) I understand the violation of conflict of interest, which mentions "contribution about yourself, family, friends, clients, employers, or your financial and other relationships" which I believe this guideline was met after I suggested to delete the entire history, product, and operation section if I am not mistaken. If it still does, I hope to understand the reason such to fix on my behalf, but please see below #6 and #7 for additional reasons and how I intend to summarize based on accepted knowledge, and written neutrally and sourced reliably. 6) Together with #5,I will make references and entirely change the introductory content (basically, EVERYTHING from scratch) to fit based on publicly referenceable and available info, such as info based on https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-us/product/office/wa200001149?tab=overview, https://solo.stanford.edu/opportunities/intumit-inc, https://beta-opendata.mangayao-net.bdcweb.org/introduction_profile/a358058d-33dc-4e0b-8e7b-0bb7871cf74e, https://aimatchmaking.tca.org.tw/stakeholder_profile/853e8e35-020c-42f7-bb88-41078641fc7b?role=1, https://ctc-insight.com/news/smart365/20200715, http://www.darwin-venture.com.tw/archive/archive_20191002.html, http://itaiwan-sw.org.tw/product.php?sid=130&lan=en, http://download.anruichina.com/arc/techsummit/AI206.pdf, http://www.darwin-venture.com.tw/archive/archive_20191002.html, https://amcham.com.tw/2016/10/amcham-2016-cybersecurity-forum/, http://www.findglocal.com/TW/Xinbei/372058042895891/Intumit%2C-Inc.-%E7%A2%A9%E7%B6%B2%E8%B3%87%E8%A8%8A, https://buzzorange.com/techorange/2020/10/22/reimagine-taiwan-aigo/, 7) If not mistaken, I believe #5 and #6 will not conflict with conflict of interest as contents are available with reference for educational purpose and not for publicizing, advertising, or promotion of the company, but to inform general public of Intumit as a whole. 8) From COI, "It undermines public confidence and risks causing public embarrassment to the individuals and companies being promoted. Editors with a COI are sometimes unaware of whether or how much it has influenced their editing. If COI editing causes disruption, an administrator may opt to place blocks on the involved accounts." will be complied fully as the resource is from outside sources. 9) I understand any news or contents should reflect with proof (such as source reference) and summarized accordingly. I hope above can be considered again for review. **Please note, all the link I provided her are not for marketing, advertising, or promotion purpose but for the subject only for appeal and to inform what I'm about to do when totally starting from scratch.

Decline reason:

Procedural decline only. This unblock request has been open for more than two weeks but has not proven sufficient for any reviewing administrator to take action. You are welcome to request a new block review if you substantially reword your request. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. signed, Rosguill talk 23:49, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
