Captain Rainbow release date

[edit]

Hello, in the article on the Wii game Captain Rainbow, you added a "to be confirmed" release date for Australasia. If that is true, what's the source for a possible release there? --Grandy02 (talk) 08:30, 21 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Daft Punk

[edit]

Regarding your edit to the article, please keep in mind that "The Daft Gang" no longer appears in Daft Punk's MySpace page. Feel free to contact me if you have any concerns. just64helpin (talk) 10:54, 23 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

November 2008

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Southern Cross Ten, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Bidgee (talk) 19:23, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Sega Australia

[edit]

I have nominated Sega Australia, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sega Australia. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Proposed deletion of Official Nintendo Magazine (Australia & New Zealand)

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Official Nintendo Magazine (Australia & New Zealand), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Non-notable publication; heavy on press releases rather than reliable sources

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Orphaned non-free image (Image:Officialnintendomagazineanz2008.jpg)

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading Image:Officialnintendomagazineanz2008.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Vandalism warning

[edit]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Communist Alliance. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you.

ABC ownership

[edit]

Hi. I've reverted your edits to ABC1, ABC2, ABC3 and ABC HD (Australia) because while those channels are government owned, they are run via the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, a government owned company that runs the TV channels (as well as other broadcast media) on the government's behalf. They are not directly controlled by the government of Australia. Misterkillboy (talk) 05:02, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]
You have been blocked for a period of 48 hours from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for persistent vandalism. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.

A tag has been placed on File:Michaeljacksondigdeepchildren.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Please do not add content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Thank you for uploading File:Sonic Classic Collection DS AUS.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Skier Dude (talk) 09:18, 4 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article Sonic Classic Collection has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non notable video games compilation

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add content (particularly if you change facts and figures), as you have to the article Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence, please cite a reliable source for the content you're adding or changing. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Thank you. kollision (talk) 14:42, 7 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on All Interactive Distribution requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Whispering 11:05, 3 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for vandalism edits that are beyond the pale, noting that these are interspersed with good edits.
