License tagging for Image:Anti-Red China Poster.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Anti-Red China Poster.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 02:06, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image (Image:Maddie_&_London's_Suite_16.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Maddie_&_London's_Suite_16.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. User:Gay Cdn (talk) (Contr) 11:42, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

I found it on Rye's page and just added it to other stations. Thanks! Geoking66talk 04:11, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

Episodes
Please provide non-trivial, reliable sources before trying to bring episodes back. External link don't add necessary content. TTN 00:19, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
- I'm not the one that touched them, but from looking at them, I see that they're just like the others. They have no sources or real world info. No consensus means that anything can happen afterwards, not that everything must remain the same. TTN 00:34, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
- See WP:RS and WP:V. TTN 02:26, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
- Exactly, they cannot be used for much here. I believe ratings from the sites are acceptable, but they have to be used along with larger, more important sites/articles. TTN 02:32, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

Sandboxing
The easiest way to do it is to make a User sandbox :) This is allowed (per WP:UP#SUB) so don't worry that your work in progress will get snatched up or deleted. To make a subpage, edit your main page and put in [[User:USERNAME/name of subpage]] or just [[/name of subpage]] and save the page. Then you'll have a link to a subpage! Voila! For example, I was trying to sort out a character page and made [[User:Ipstenu/Character List]], so I could play and then propose it as a new template. Just don't copy images to those subpages, that's the only catch I'm aware of. -- Ipstenu (talk • contribs) 13:35, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

PIP shields
The PIP shields are the work of the Palisades Interstate Park Commission, which is a bistate public authority and thus not quite an agency of the state government. Since its signage is used only its own roads, it's not in the MUTCD and thus it's not public domain. See discussion here. Same goes for Thruway trailblazers.
I have created a free stand-in for Thruway signs; I have been meaning to do the same for the PIP. Daniel Case 04:40, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, the Thruway shields are in the 2007 NY MUTCD supplement. Just as an aside. --TMF Let's Go Mets - Stats 09:17, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
CR 111/NYS 27 Interchange Reply
Hi. No, the interchange is the same as always. However, saying it was "incomplete" (to me) made it sound like all of the connections aren't there (the example being the interchange just to the west, Exit 61, with County Route 51, where there is no westbound offramp). There is full access between the roads, so "incomplete" doesn't sound like the right word - maybe it can be written: "this interchange was planned to be a full cloverleaf interchange upon completion of CR 111, but to date it remains an underpowered diamond interchange" or some such words. Apologies
I'm sorry, but I had to remove the AID nomination you made. We're having to restructure AID because we have over 5000 stubs, and your nomination got removed in the process. --Rschen7754 (talk - contribs) 22:57, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
Michigan Amtrak locaters
Thanks for your message. I have not learned yet how to establish locaters. Have you trying the WikiProject Michigan home page? Bigturtle 13:32, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Ron_and_Amelia.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Ron_and_Amelia.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ShakespeareFan00 16:24, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
Woodside (LIRR station) expansion
I really liked that expansion. Sure makes that article look a lot better. jj137 14:38, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
Levy CR 24
From the FDOT GIS files, Levy CR 24 has a local name of Picnic Street, runs from SR 24 to US27A for a distance of 0.759 miles. I have never been to Levy County, so I don't know any more than what the FDOT files say. --Holderca1 20:33, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
- Found a map service that actually listed the number rather than just the street name, Rand McNally does call it CR 24B, say maybe just an error in the file, which leads to another problem, how do we cite the FDOT files as a source when it doesn't call it 24B? Just found an error in the files on another route. It doesn't list a CR 322 for any county, but maps show it, and the files list a terminus for CR 323 as CR 322. Very odd, so does it exist or not? Was it decommissioned? I don't know. It does have it listed under E. Levy St, but with no county number. Not sure if that means it has been decommissioned or not though. --Holderca1 20:52, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
