Greetings!

[edit]

Hallo there, Danylstrype! I certainly "recognised your name as a fellow contributor to the sadly missed Bohème Magazine"! :-) And had wondered whether you might have been active at Indymedia Aotearoa ... now, having seen your page here, I know that you are. Also, I was heartened to see that Indymedia Aotearoa remains active, despite so many others having fallen away. I was moved to contemplate what it is that enables a movement to become a permanent institution, as Wikipedia may yet succeed in doing, bucking a very strong contrary trend in activist movements. (For example, since moving to Mildura on the Murray River some two-and-a-half years ago – and six hours away from Melbourne, I no longer try to help the Melbourne PC User Group totter along (ever more feebly it seems) despite having been involved there for about 30 years!) Do you have any blinding insights? ;-) yoyo (talk) 10:40, 12 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Fediverse

[edit]

Hi, I'm JamesG5. Danylstrype, thanks for creating Fediverse!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Research shows there is some notability, but this piece needs sources to show it. It also needs to be added to categories. I'll add some sources to the talk page that can be used to expand it.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Comparison of software and protocols for distributed social networking, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page AGPL. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

New, simpler RfC to define trust levels for WikiLoop DoubleCheck

[edit]

HI Danylstrype,
I'm writing to let you know we have simplified the RfC on trust levels for the tool WikiLoop DoubleCheck. Please join and share your thoughts about this feature! We made this change after hearing users' comments on the first RfC being too complicated. I hope that you can participate this time around, giving your feedback on this new feature for WikiLoop DoubleCheck users.
Thanks and see you around online,
María Cruz

The True School moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to The True School. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. I dream of horses (Hoofprints) (Neigh at me) 14:32, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, that was quick. I was just loading some sources into the talk page, and planning to integrate them into the article tomorrow. Can you comment on how well these would address the concern that made you unpublish the article? Danylstrype (talk) 14:45, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
