Amber Chadwick subject to speedy deletion
[edit]Greetings! I saw that you recreated an article on Amber Chadwick today. I say recreated because the article was previously deleted as a result of discussion about the article. Accordingly, the article is now subject to speedy deletion, since there is no additional notability about the subject. She would either need a lot more on her resume, or deletion review would have to be conducted on the article. —C.Fred (talk) 03:10, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
Google Video
[edit]Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. The external link you recently added to Google Video in an article has been removed. MySpeccy.com
[edit]Before posting any more external links to MySpeccy.com, please review WP:LINKSPAM and WP:External links and consider checking with the members of Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games to see if your bulk linking is acceptable. Thanks, Marasmusine (talk) 13:28, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
MySpeccy.com
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.
You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later."
You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question at the "Help Desk". You can also leave a message on my talk page.
The links to sites such as myspeccy.com that contain copyright-infringing roms is not suitable for wikipedia. --Oscarthecat (talk) 21:44, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for File:Bloodaxe.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Bloodaxe.gif. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 19:08, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Kiwahirsuta.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Kiwahirsuta.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 14:44, 13 March 2014 (UTC)
