You don’t get to give warnings. — Preceding unsigned comment added by RossButsy (talkcontribs) 18:09, 18 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

My signature

[edit]

Why wasn’t my signature working earlier? Hopefully I’ve corrected it. DarkShadowDude 💬 15:10, 18 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for inviting me! See you there! DarkShadowDude 💬 16:31, 18 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@RossButsy: If any editor vandalises Wikipedia, they will be given a warning, and many others if the editor who started it began edit warring, they would be given more. If they continue vandalising for months, or even years, the editor(s) who warned the vandal may deny recognition but the vandalism would continue to be reverted. DarkShadowDude 💬 18:22, 18 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Also, new messages need to be at the bottom of the talk page. DarkShadowDude 💬 18:48, 18 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

My wikipedia page is not a test page and also I don't think I deliberately destructed my own wiki page. JuniorAdventures 💬 17:46 19 april 2021 (UTC)

Ok but without sources, the page doesn’t meet our notability guidelines. Sorry. DarkShadowDude 💬 21:54, 19 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please type four tildes (~) in order for your initials, the time and date to automatically appear. DarkShadowDude 💬 21:55, 19 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I know he's getting under your skin...

But please don't stoop to his level. —C.Fred (talk) 18:03, 20 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, thanks Fred. DarkShadowDude 💬 18:04, 20 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for edit warring.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  ~ ToBeFree (talk) 20:15, 20 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@ToBeFree: Sorry for edit warring but it was actually RossButsy who started edit warring before I did. I was trying to remove poorly referenced material. DarkShadowDude 💬 20:17, 20 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I don't really care who has started this, but I found a relatively simple way to make it stop. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 20:21, 20 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Additional important notice

[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

@ToBeFree: I promise to refrain from edit warring and will not do it again, but all I was trying to do was remove vandalism or poorly referenced content from pages that contained them. This block violates our blocking policy, which I have read. I promise to stop edit warring, move on from the pages I started edit warring on and move on. It was RossButsy who was edit warring and resorting to personal attacks since I checked his talk page and what he has been telling others. Thank you. DarkShadowDude 💬 20:21, 20 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I am truly sorry for edit warring though. DarkShadowDude 💬 20:22, 20 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@ToBeFree: I am trying to help out with the vandalism situation here, expand articles I like to experiment on, I’m here to help, not vandalize. Thanks. DarkShadowDude 💬 20:26, 20 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
