Lands End to JoG

[edit]

Hallo, sorry but I've reverted your edit.

  1. The existing public transport info is about rail plus bus journeys, so the heading change was wrong.
  2. You were describing a station-to-station route: this article is about travel between the extremities
  3. You cited no sources.

It might be useful to add a section describing the fastest journey between the extremities which would be possible using today's timetables, including bus connections as needed, with links to timetable sites (preferably archiving those sites into Wayback Machine if possible, to future-proof the sources), and clarifying that this is {{as of|May 2022}}. This: https://www.firstbus.co.uk/adventures-bus/services/lands-end-coaster looks useful! PamD 13:12, 4 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
After unreverting (my first point wasn't quite right - there was a paragraph about hypothetical rail-and-bus route but the rest was all buses), and adding bus info to fix point 2, and generally improving ... I found a record-holder for the "public ground transport" journey, added him with sources, and deleted the rest as superfluous. Thanks for your efforts. I found a couple of interesting blog accounts, not "reliable sources" but interesting reads: https://busandtrainuser.com/2019/06/19/lejog-the-plan/ and https://busandtrainuser.com/2019/06/20/lejog-as-it-happens/ .
