Conrad Taylor
[edit]Conrad Taylor is a Democratic candidate running to bring renewed energy and a new voice to the Binghamton City Council in 2015. He was born in New York City with his father being a teacher and his mother being a cashier. He is currently a student at Binghamton University studying Political Science, but has already received his associates degree from Bard College.
Conrad wants to fight for three big issues: downtown development, blight elimination, and code enforcement. He believes that downtown Binghamton can be so much bigger and better than what it is not and needs the support of the city to grow into a regional destination. Yet, there should be no singular focus on downtown. The Northside needs help, too. He wants to help bring down the blighted homes and properties that are not only an eyesore, but making the neighborhood unsafe for residents.
Conrad is also running on the party lines of the Women's Equality Party, Working Families Party, and the Better Binghamton Party. He wants to fight for progressive issues that will help raise Binghamton up.
