Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of Regional Transport Office districts in India, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Chirang. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:00, 21 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I am afraid your edits to the page, labelled "ce", had altered the meaning of the text. Such edits cannot be labelled "ce". If you want to make normal edits to the page, you need to justify them, provide WP:RS, and discuss them on the talk page when objected to. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 13:37, 12 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Was editing for tone, clarity and easy readability, the change in meaning would have been due to my miscomprehension of text. Thanks for the revert and suggestion. Thank You. iAshwinDeshmukh Deshmukh.3851 talk 13:53, 12 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:28, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template index/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. Rusty4321 talk contribs 17:40, 11 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank You. iAshwinDeshmukh Deshmukh.3851 talk 14:40, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Delhi University Students Union. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Rusty4321 talk contribs 02:44, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Note that WP:3O is always open to you. Rusty4321 talk contribs 02:45, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank You for the suggestions and advice(s).
Will act accordingly and appropriately. iAshwinDeshmukh Deshmukh.3851 talk 14:41, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The majority of redacted content is copied 'as is' from the source. Certain of it was bit paraphrased for tenses and voice. The source being the Constitution of the DUSU. The Delhi University is a public university and the Students' Union is established via the Constitution of the DUSU. The Constitution is a public and open material. There's no copyright over the Constitution.
Queries and suggestions regarding the same are most welcome. Request to undo the redaction.
Thank You. iAshwinDeshmukh Deshmukh.3851 talk 17:37, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Regardless of whether or not it is copyrighted (materials published by public universities are not automatically copyright-free), Wikipedia doesn't need a copy of the constitution, slightly reworded or not. OhNoitsJamie Talk 11:44, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
