[edit] Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Karl (given name). Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. You edit to Toast was just barely possibly a very poorly worded edit, but there's no question about this one. Stop messing around. Meters (talk) 02:37, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
Hello. Your recent edit to Rome, New York appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. Meters (talk) 02:40, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
- And please read WP:MINOR. These edits are not minor. Meters (talk) 02:41, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Rome, New York, you may be blocked from editing. Stop adding this person. This the third time you have had this edit undone. There is no evidence he is notable. He doe snot have an article. You have not provided a reference showing his connection to the city. We do not list people unless they have a wikipedia article to show their notability and a reliable source to show their connection to the city. And this is not a minor edit. Meters (talk) 02:50, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
- If you don't understand then ask, because if you keep doing this you may end up blocked. Meters (talk) 02:52, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Rome, New York. How many times do I have to tell you this? This is not a minor edit. He doe snot have a wikipedia articel to show his notability. He does not have a reference to show his connection to the city. For all we know he does not even exist. Stop doing this. And your username suggests that you are attempting to add a mention of yourself. That's a really bad idea. Meters (talk) 16:23, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Rome, New York. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.
If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to result in loss of your editing privileges.
Add EW warning since this is the fourth time. Meters (talk) 16:24, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
- You will almost certainly be blocked if you attempt to add him again. I've explained the removal on the article's talk page. Meters (talk) 16:36, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
