User talk:Devputra Darshan
Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Devputra Darshan, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Please ensure your contributions conform to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy (NPOV). Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.
There's a page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Questions page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. Below are a few other good links for newcomers:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- Contributing to Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Simplified Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Fences&Windows 10:30, 22 May 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you for your comment on my talk page. This is related to the topic ban and block of User:Bangali Babu Is Back by User:Abecedare, right? The article Kayastha is now under Extended Confirmed Protection so only longer-standing Wikipedians may edit it and BBIB's edits have been reverted.
- The dispute seems to be about Wikipedia:Summary style. How much detail to go into in this article versus the specific articles like Chitraguptavanshi Kayastha? That latter article is only a stub, so why not expand it using some of the removed material - if verified and not closely copied from the sources.
- See Wikipedia:Dispute resolution for more advice. You may make your case on the talk page at Talk:Kayastha, neutrally ask for input at Wikipedia talk:Noticeboard for India-related topics and perhaps open a Request for Comments. Fences&Windows 10:47, 22 May 2020 (UTC)
Its about the 100 of edits made by Sitush in a matter of days. Its about the personal attack and harassment by Sitush on Kayastha talk page, which has now been mysteriously emptied. Its about the principles of being free and fair. Devputra Darshan (talk) 19:01, 22 May 2020 (UTC)
