Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Diana De La Torre Pinedo. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page One Degree, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. On your sandbox page, you stated that you had worked for One Degree. Schazjmd (talk) 23:57, 7 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Rey Faustino[edit]

Hello, Diana De La Torre Pinedo,

Thank you for creating Rey Faustino.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Page is uncategorized, see WP:CAT. Same editor created this page and a page for its subject's business at the same time, with much personal detail. Please see WP:COI and declare any conflicts or paid editing as required. Page contains unnecessary personal details. Page needs additional references for verification. Language is not standardized with personal vs 3rd person use, giving a promotional appearance.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|JamesG5}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Ways to improve One Degree[edit]

Hello, Diana De La Torre Pinedo,

Thank you for creating One Degree.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Article does not appear to meet WP:GNG. Creator appears to have a WP:COI issue per this business and its owner. References are almost entirely from the company's website, no 3rd party coverage, see WP:REF. Article is uncategoried WP:CAT.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|JamesG5}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Hello, Diana De La Torre Pinedo,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username JamesG5 and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I’ve proposed an article that you started, One Degree, for deletion because it meets one of the relevant criterion. The particular issue can be located in the notice, that is now-visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to prevent the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click Publish Changes button.

But, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the raised issues. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|JamesG5}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Notice

The article Rey Faustino has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:GNG, sources used include Faustino's LinkedIn profile (used more than any other reference) and his own self-published blog on Medium. Article was created by editor with apparent WP:COI

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Your draft article, Draft:One Degree[edit]

Hello, Diana De La Torre Pinedo. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "One Degree".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! —Nnadigoodluck 00:18, 18 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
