Hello, I'm Lavalizard101. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Gail's have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Request reason:

From our understanding, the reason we have been blocked is that we are a digital marketing agency and we are paid to advertise for our clients. According to the purpose of Wikipedia, this goes against its guidelines. Because we are part of an agency, our account username represents a business and goes against the username policy. However, we can assure you that our purpose in editing GAIL's Wikipedia page is NOT for advertising purposes but is to update the general public on the history of GAIL's, as well as change the basic issues like the business name format. We believe this is in the interest of Wikipedia so that it is not promoting false information about a well-known UK company. If we are unblocked the contributions we intend to make are to rectify the way the business' name is formatted (from Gail's to GAIL's) to properly reflect the business branding. We also intend to provide a full and meaningful history of a much-loved UK company, as well as provide up-to-date images.

Decline reason:

the primary reason you are blocked is for promotional editing. Cutting-and-pasting from Gail's "about us" page is entirely that. Just to make it clear, the subject of a Wikipedia article (a person, a business, etc.) has no right of ownership or control over the Wikipedia article about it. @Jpgordon: Thanks for your reply. I have added the data from the about us page, as I found it more accurate. If I need to rephrase any wording, it will be absolutely fine, I appreciate your advice. The page name is spelt wrongly, can you please update it to 'GAIL's Bakery'? Also, I need to update the text too. I have been looking at Cafe Nero and Costa as well, it is quite similar and I am not sure why our edit has been removed. It is not about promotions, We are adding more data about GAIL's and I think this is what Wikipedia is for, to deliver accurate data about everyone and every place that the users are interested in. @Digital Xanda Ltd: Please place new postings at the bottom of the page to ensure that the discussion flows in the correct chronological order. Your original positioning was confusing and messed up the existing notification at the top, so I moved it down.

If you want something in this article changed, your primary concern should be to correct your username which currently violates Wikipedia's username policy. Secondly, you should make the proper and mandatory disclosure of paid editing if you are representing this business's interests. Thirdly, you should read what I already wrote above; content is dictated by what has been written about this business in reliable sources that have no financial interest in it.
