Fall of Saigon : Heads up[edit]

Hi there. A little heads-up: I'm referring to your edit on Fall of Saigon, in which you reverted "my" edit, which did nothing more than add a comma after "meanwhile". I was NOT the one who changed "North Vietnamese" to "Vietcong" - that was done by the anonymous editor before me. Hitting the revert button like that makes it appear that I was the one who made the controversial changes - which doesn't make me look too good, does it? In future, please (a) check to make sure that the last author really was the one who made the changes before using that button. If not, please instead go into the article's History, find the last version you approve of, and restore that version. David Cannon (talk) 10:22, 10 October 2015 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open![edit]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
