Ways to improve Non-Referential Architecture

Hi, I'm Vexations. Dimhcs, thanks for creating Non-Referential Architecture!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. This reads more like a manifesto than a neutral encyclopedic article about a notable topic. The only sources are Breitschmidt and Olgiati themselves, and I see no evidence of the signifcant coverage in independent, reliable sources that we require. Can you find sources that are independent of the authors?

I've just come across this page, I notice that Dimhcs has removed the "POV" tag that you (Vexations) added. I was considering adding a Template:Advert (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Advert) before noticing that. The article still reads like a puff piece for Olgiati's ideas and Breitschmid's book.

It's not clear to me that this idea is noteworthy enough (yet) to get its own wikipedia page. The idea of non-representational or non-referential architecture is not new (see work of Peter Eisenman, etc.) and although Olgiati may have his own take on it, the question is really whether what he has to say has wide recognition and is intellectually substantive (and not just a manifesto in support of his own architectural production). Compare something like the notion of "analog architecture", discussed here: https://www.carusostjohn.com/text/aa-files-whatever-happened-analogue-architecture/ which was a minor movement, if it can be called that, which only a few architects identified with, and which doesn't have a Wikipedia page.

So, even if the tone of this article can be fixed so that it doesn't read like a promotional piece, I don't think this topic needs its own Wikipedia page. It should be merged into Valerio Olgiati's page. I do get that Breitschmid is in some way an amanuensis for Olgiati and might want this work to stand apart from Olgiati's own entry. But not every book or manifesto is significant enough to get its own page. By the way, dimhcs, if Breitschmid is you, as I suspect it is, obviously that would be problematic!
