Edit summaries

When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field, especially for big edits or when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. How to handle page deletions

If you think a page should be deleted from Wikipedia (like you recently did with TIF), please do not blank the page, but follow the steps outlined in the Wikipedia deletion policy. Jann Wenner

Just a quick note to thank you for removing the word "writing" from my recent edits to the Jann Wenner article. I realized just as I saved the edits that its inclusion too severely restricted his ability to spot talent. However, I did not have time to go back and delete it at the time...

Also, I think this article could be expanded, given the distinctiveness and longevity of Wenner's contributions. Just a thought. Again, thanks your editing. Designquest10 (talk) 18:22, 5 August 2008 (UTC)

Chanel

Hi, Would you know who replaced Hochland as CEO at Chanel and would you have a ref regarding his leaving the company? The only relevant ref I can find is a useless link to a partially quoted article in the Chicago Tribune from Google (3 days ago - "What's more, the message was delivered to the world by Chanel's ... as CEO in place of Chanel's recently appointed CEO, Nick Hochland. ... a corporation would want to act swiftly when the need to replace a key figure arises"), which is unavailable in Europe.
