Re: Thanks

You're welcome. I found that it needed a history merge because ANAK Society was on the Main Page yesterday. Graham87 02:28, 24 August 2010 (UTC)

"Figured I'd thank you!"

You left a hint letting me know how to preview references way back in April on my usertalk page. I haven't logged in since then (I edit very rarely) but figured I'd let you know I appreciated it! :) Drzzy (talk) 07:19, 28 August 2010 (UTC)

No problem! Glad to help :) —Disavian (talk/contribs) 21:03, 28 August 2010 (UTC)

Re: Ramblin Wreck

From what I've seen, there is no date attached to it that I've come across SDSM&T was founded in 1885 so I imagine some time not log after that, but that's just speculation. GreenRunner0 01:08, 19 September 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, but GT was founded in 1885 and the fight song came along in 1893. At issue is which version came first, as you'll notice that the section is entitled "Previous Adaptations." I hope you understand that I'm going for a fairly high standard of verification for that article - I'd ideally like to run it through FAC at some point. —Disavian (talk/contribs) 02:20, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, I couldn't tell you which came first, but I can guarantee that still use it at Mines, so I think it deserves some mention with all the other versions. GreenRunner0 15:10, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
Well I'm sure there are plenty of derivative versions that can be referenced. Where in the article would we put them? Near the end? —Disavian (talk/contribs) 06:40, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
Perhaps. I feel its reasonable to include it as most of the other versions are fight songs from notable schools, and that's certainly the case here. It might not be derivative of the GT version, but we don't know. I'll see if I can check with someone at the school to resolve this. GreenRunner0 02:05, 24 September 2010 (UTC)

So tell me, were you even born in 1978 when there was indeed a fourth verse to the song? ...Didn't think so. And I don't think Al Ciraldo made any mention of it during the football radio broadcasts, then on WGST 920AM. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Discpad (talkcontribs) 23:56, 10 October 2010

My ability to create a verifiable encyclopedia entry has no bearing on my age, sir. I'd advise you to revisit the guidelines and goals of this community before you edit any farther. —Disavian (talk/contribs) 06:29, 12 October 2010 (UTC)

Interested in writing an article on Rich Yunkus?

Hi Disavian - I am an editor with WikiProject College Basketball and I am working with some others to create articles for all NCAA basketball All-Americans and have Rich Yunkus on my list. I saw that Yunkus linked to one of your sandbox pages so I thought I'd see if you might be willing to create this article? Just thought I'd check as the article would not only further Georgia Tech's athletic coverage, it would also help Wikiproject:College basketball. Let me know if you're interested. Rikster2 (talk) 23:47, 19 September 2010 (UTC)

Ordinarily I'd go for it, but I haven't had much free time lately. —Disavian (talk/contribs) 05:15, 20 September 2010 (UTC)

Georgia Tech Navbox: 15 November 2010

Greetings Disavian, With regard to the colors on the Georgia Tech Navbox, I'm rather partial to the color scheme implemented by Dragonlink08. To my eye the readability appears fine. One compromise option might be a Navy (or Black) 2px border and perhaps a 1px shadow on the Institute's name (if possible) for Dragonlink08's color scheme. How would you find that? Georgia Tech combination image removal

Sorry about not explaining myself. I'm migrating all of the college football uniforms over to a new template and that necessitates removing the combination images since they're superfluous many of them are already too big and would only get larger under the new template. If you have any other concerns, please tell me at User talk:Kevin W./College football uniforms. Thanks. --Kevin W. 08:00, 4 December 2010 (UTC)

Fair enough. Carry on, then :) —Disavian (talk/contribs) 08:08, 5 December 2010 (UTC)

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect T:AH. Since you had some involvement with the T:AH redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion (if you have not already done so). Kumioko (talk) 14:33, 15 December 2010 (UTC)
