A tag has been placed on Pat Moriarty requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. -- Alan Liefting (talk) - 23:25, 4 April 2010 (UTC)

Technology Association of Georgia

The first step is to take a look at WP:CORP and try to figure out whether the subject is even notable enough to be written about here, because my reaction at first glance is that it's going to fail that test. --Orange Mike | Talk 13:18, 7 April 2010 (UTC)

You are now a Reviewer

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Karanacs (talk) 17:34, 15 June 2010 (UTC)

Hi. I've nominated Maurice W. Long, an article you worked on, for consideration to appear on the Main Page as part of Wikipedia:Did you know. You can see the hook for the article here, where you can improve it if you see fit. MC10 (TCGBL) 20:33, 8 July 2010 (UTC)

Smithsonian Secretary's Wikipedia page

Hi, I work in the central office of public affairs at the Smithsonian and have been asked to update the Secretary's wikipedia page with updated awards. Could you please instruct me on how to make those edits correctly? Thanks so much! <SIopa (talk) 13:46, 12 July 2010 (UTC)>

So the awards list was fine; my problem is that you were wholesale copying text from his biography. Generally speaking, that violates copyright and does not fit with the flow of the page; in addition, it is important to cite the sources you use when writing a page. So if you write something from scratch about Clough and cite his biography, that's a valid use. I can help format the citation if need be. —Disavian (talk/contribs) 02:25, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
