Reverted your edits on the Wu Assassins page

[edit]

Hi Djjasonwu, I have reverted your edits on Wu Assassins due to unreliable sources (IMDB is not a reliable source) that you have cited as part of your contributions on that page. Please add and cite sources that are reliable and in line with the established Wikipedia guidelines and policies for references. Have a nice day!

JuJu Chan birth date

[edit]

Hi Djjasonwu, I would like to know what is the source that you used to state that JuJu Chan is born in 1989. According to the IMDb she is born in 1987, according to the KMDb in 1988, according to other sources in 1986. Thanks, --Martin Mystère (talk) 17:50, 29 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Chinese sites listed her as 1989, which I believe is more accurate, as she is from Hong Kong, China.

Information icon Hello, I'm BriefEdits. I noticed that you recently removed content from JuJu Chan without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at JuJu Chan. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. She may be referred to as JuJu Chan professionally but that doesn't discount the fact that NYU, her alma mater, lists her as Juliana. Unless you can prove that she isn't Juliana, please stop altering the lead. BriefEdits (talk) 01:03, 17 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of Conflict of interest noticeboard discussion

[edit]

Information icon There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Conflict of interest/Noticeboard regarding a possible conflict of interest incident with which you may be involved. Thank you. BubbaJoe123456 (talk) 19:02, 15 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I am a hobby editor here, only interested in updating a few pages of people I want to contribute about with updated information I came across with. The link you keep referring to is not a trustworthy source in Hong Kong. There are other sources quoting that that media is not reliable. [1]

[2]

I’ve found other interviews with her age that is from more reliable sources [3]

[4] , that’s why I’ve been reverting your edits. Djjasonwu (talk) 03:06, 17 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I wrote you here. It could be interesting to know where you have found the image of JuJu Chan. Could you answer in that discussion? --Martin Mystère (talk) 10:44, 23 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I have no time to go through all your messages in different forums. I will answer you here. I found her reps’ emails online, so I sent out emails and asked for some photos. I got a couple back, so I used one. I saw a request has been placed to remove that photo. Sorry I don’t understand what photos can be uploaded and what cannot. Anyway, you have taken away my interest in editing her page. I have already moved on to edit someone else’s. Disappointing to me that I’m just trying to do what’s right. But seems like a lot of people are in here looking for a fight. Not my style. Djjasonwu (talk) 08:49, 24 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Wikipedia:Mayling Ng, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. @Edwardx: The sources I used for Mayling Ng is using “Her World” which is Singapore’s most established women’s publication since 1960. “Flaunt”, an American fashion and culture magazine based in Los Angeles, founded in 1998.

“Variety”, and “Deadline”, these are well known media.

If these are not enough to support or to build on? I really don’t understand what sources you will accept.

I have seen independent sources being allowed in many other articles, and some articles are even shorter or more incomplete then the one I am editing. How come other editors can reference using those sources but I cannot?
