FYI, If I could have sent that message privately, I would have. But the user in question doesn't seem to allow emails and I understood that was the only way to send a private message. His name is Ewen not Ewan. The choices are Wikipedia:Responding to threats of harm. I used Wikipedia:Requests for oversight (albeit outside their remit).
