Please do not use styles that are unusual or difficult to understand in articles, as you did to Victoria Cross. There is a Manual of Style that should be followed. Thank you. You've been reverted many times. No one is agreeing with your edits.

Speedy deletion of George Wythe College

[edit]

A tag has been placed on George Wythe College requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Victoria Cross

[edit]

Please discuss why you think this text is so necessary, the feeling amongst the other regular editors of the page is that it is redundant, if you know what the other decorations are in teh first place, simply the fact that they are all the highest decorations available makes them obviously equivalent, and if you don't know what the other decorations are, it doesn't tell you anything particularly useful to have the comparison made. The comaprison with the Legion d'honneur is somewhat debateable in any case, since that is an order of several grades. David Underdown (talk) 09:35, 11 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please consider taking the AGF Challenge

[edit]

I would like to invite you to consider taking part in the AGF Challenge which has been proposed for use in the RfA process [1] by User: Kim Bruning. You can answer in multiple choice format, or using essay answers, or anonymously. You can of course skip any parts of the Challenge you find objectionable or inadvisable.--Filll (talk) 04:40, 19 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
