Hi. I think it's best to keep the section structure of the article as it is now, and first propose changes to it on the article talk page. The disruption "allegations" are more or less part of the standard message templates that were used for these warnings. With the book listed under "References", you can just write "Cockburn, p. xx" instead of using a whole book citation. Let me know if you have any questions...
