You risk being blocked

[edit]

You risk being blocked from editing if you persist with disruptive edits such as this. You need to read the intro at the top of the article page and note well that it states -- "In most ocean deaths, bodies are never recovered, but this fact alone does not make their disappearance mysterious. For example, the RMS Titanic was not a mysterious disappearance." The article about Yusuf İsmail clearly states "he drowned before the crew could get to him". There was nothing mysterious about it. I am removing his entry.Moriori (talk) 21:20, 2 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You need to read WP:NPA. Your edit summary was problematic as well -- "Quit removing this one you dumbo." You can be blocked for such an attack. Moriori (talk) 21:20, 2 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You need to take more care when editing

[edit]

Your recent editing regarding Guma Aguiar on List of people who disappeared mysteriously at sea introduced two careless errors. He was not a part owner of the football club, and he disappeared/was reported missing on 20 June, not 19 June. Moriori (talk) 21:55, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for persistent disruptive edits. This deliberate sly edit carried a misleading edit summary, and it is only because I know you are a problematic editor that I detected it. Editors aren't here to just chase around checking on you, so if on your return from the block you continue with nonsense, you will likely be blocked permanently. If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} Moriori (talk) 20:54, 6 March 2021 (UTC).[reply]

Help with editing

[edit]

I see that you have added entries to the List of people who disappeared mysteriously at sea. Could I please give you some entries that you could add. I have been adding entries myself, but need help with adding them since there are many entries to be added. Davidgoodheart (talk) 18:13, 4 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Umm sure, which ones? Doyouknowpie (talk) 22:56, 4 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Are you still able to help me add entries to the List of people who disappeared mysteriously at sea? There are a lot of entries needed to be added and I could really use help adding them. Davidgoodheart (talk) 03:18, 16 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Are you just planning to add every ship that disappeared? If so then don't because there is already a list of missing ships. Doyouknowpie (talk) 03:56, 16 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I will get back to soon about this issue. For now could you please add Caryn Eileen Campbell and Julie Cunningham to the List of solved missing person cases. Davidgoodheart (talk) 18:29, 17 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Please add Hans Keime to the List of solved missing person cases. Davidgoodheart (talk) 02:43, 12 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please move Jeremiah Haralson to the right section as he disappeared in 1916. Davidgoodheart (talk) 20:45, 18 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Well uh no 1916 is the year he is believed to have died in. He disappears from the historical record in 1895 after being imprisoned in new york. Doyouknowpie (talk) 20:53, 18 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Do you think that you could add some entries to the List of kidnappings if I gave you some to add. Davidgoodheart (talk) 16:47, 21 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
This here Theophilus London is a solved case, and is currently on the wrong list. Also here is another entry James Nolan (criminal) that can be added to the solved cases list. Davidgoodheart (talk) 11:21, 11 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Fugitive

[edit]

Sorry about that. I see you moved him over to List of fugitives from justice who disappeared. Thanks for doing that. Auric talk 21:24, 10 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of solved missing person cases: pre-2000, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Montdidier. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:00, 20 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
