Information icon Hello, I'm Meters. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Saskatoon Hilltops, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please stop adding unsourced claims. And please read WP:PUFFERY. This is Wikipedia's article about the team, it is not the team's article or publicity page. Meters (talk) 01:18, 24 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Saskatoon Hilltops, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive. Do not remove cite required maintenance tags unless you provide a source that actually supports the claim. The source you provided in the lead just says that they have won the consecutive titles. It says nothing about the team being the only team to have won that many consecutive titles. I have removed the claim in question. Do not restore it unless you provide a reliable source. Meters (talk) 01:47, 24 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

And please don't add trivia about who all of the staff are. The general reader simply does not care who is on the team's gate, for who drives the team's vehicle, for example. We wouldn't mention that for a professional team, we certainly are not going to mention it for an amateur Junior team. Meters (talk) 01:54, 24 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

possible COI?

[edit]

Do you have a conflict of interest in Saskatoon Hilltops? You are a WP:SPA on this subject.. That's not a problem, but it is suggestive, particularly given the content of your many edits. If you are associated with the team in any way (player, parent, relative, employee, etc) or are the writer of one of the sports columns you are referencing then you need to read and comply with WP:COI.
