My apologies. How do I post information regarding who I am for my constituents?
I do not view my posting information about me as being advertising. I have a great many people who continually want to know who I am and what I do...If this makes for incorrect wiki info then so be it. I just think it is rude to just cut me out without first contacting me. What arrogance, especially when this is a FREE encyclopedia...not true freedom as I now see. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Drdubputnam (talk • contribs) 20:19, 3 August 2011 (UTC)
- Hi there. I moved this post of yours from Wikipedia talk:Criteria for speedy deletion, since it's not related to the policy itself but a specific page. As for the removal of the information from your userpage, please read Wikipedia:User pages#What may I not have in my user pages?. Wikipedia is a free encyclopedia, not a free webhost. As such, user pages are not for your promotion. As for editing on behalf of yourself, please read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. If you are really as important as you believe yourself to be, you might be notable and someone will create an article about you sooner or later anyway. I advise you strongly not to create one yourself; see the previously mentioned guideline on conflicts of interests. Regards SoWhy 20:50, 3 August 2011 (UTC)
