May 2012[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is invited to contribute, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Māori, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. You may live in Dunedin but the rest of your name is not true if you think you can make edits such as this and not be taken to task. Continuation will get you blocked from editing Wikipedia. Moriori (talk) 01:22, 19 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • The edit you made was not very good, but to suggest you might be blocked for it is absurd, and the comment above comes close to being a personal attack. I suggest ignoring it. JamesBWatson (talk) 10:31, 23 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
    • He wasn't threatened with possible block for that edit but was warned that continuation of such edits would result in a block. Chalk and cheese. Moriori (talk) 02:48, 7 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Tā moko. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you.-gadfium 21:04, 31 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Adding the following from Moriori talk

Thank you for the personal attack Moriori. I feel that my name implies that I use a dictionary to define words I am unsure about. Like, for instance, the word Indigenous. This word means 'originally of the land'. American Indians are indigenous as are the Inuit of Canada. Maori, however, are from Hawaiki, as per their legends. You cannot be indigenous as well as from another country, otherwise EVERY person in New Zealand would be indigenous. Hence my edit of the Maori wiki page. If you wish to continue personally attacking me, that is fine, but I suggest you change your name from a race of people who no longer exist so that your attacks can be seen as valid. I see someone else has reverted you today, making it three different people reverting your six edits to three different articles. Read Indigenous peoples. And then read Moriori to see just how laughable is your assertion that Moriori are ".....a race of people who no longer exist". Moriori (talk) 21:46, 31 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I have noticed that another editor has subsequently warned you re vandalism. Moriori (talk) 21:56, 31 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
