Thanks for your many questions. However, many of the answers are either speculative, or out their already, you just have to look. ;-) Dyslexic agnostic 16:12, 29 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Found the link concearning a lawsuit w/ DC Comics. It is: http://www.acme-superstore.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=2188&sid=874223a454d571f4fcc8c2fcbc9b3108/

Someone on this link had made the remark about a possible lawsuit about DC Comics being sued should the Wonder Woman character be cancelled. On this link, see a title on the left called "The_Mess".That is where the lawsuit claim is found. Thought I may alert you to this myself.Martial Law 03:00, 30 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Stop posting me about this. Some comment on a messageboard is hardly worth discussing. plus, the series is being RESTARTED. Post your stories where they belong please! Dyslexic agnostic 04:48, 30 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Strange.[edit]

It seems people are trying to line up around the block to score off me. News flash, i've never actually seen you and you accuse me of attacking you. Nevertheless, for posting this i can guarantee i will receive another warning. Spum 10:27, 5 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Personally, I think you did a terrific job, man. Almost a miracle! But the article editing page is still pointing that the article is too long. If you think we should just ignore the warning, no problem at all :) Lesfer 03:01, 7 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Footnote how-to[edit]

Fun'n'easy. You put 1 in the text to create, for example, a superscript for footnote 1, and then you write: ==Footnotes== somewhere down in the page by References or External Links, and below that type * ^1 Wertham, Frederic, Seduction of the Innocent, (etc.)

Have a great holiday-- Tenebrae 03:12, 24 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I am...[edit]

I am trying to prevent a Edit war, no more, no less. When I came here, I have indicated that I did not want this posting, believing that the people here are civil( WP:CIVIL )to one another. This has nothing to do with paranormal fixation at all. I have indeed had some really strange experiences, no more, no less. Boy was I naive to assume that people are civil. I believe that, as a Admin., I could put a stop to any Edit Wars anywhere, so that the Users can continue to contribute without getting into some kind of conflict. On the Bigfoot article's Talk page, I have even offered to mediate the current dispute on MY Talk page, so that this conflict does not affect other editors at all. I feel as a Admin., maybe I can do some good, and help offset some "bad Admin" reports lodged by other users. Do you agree ? Martial Law 21:43, 27 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

My law enforcement heritage forbids me from abusing power. I am no cop myself, but a large number of my kin are in law enforcement. Martial Law 21:53, 27 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

You want me to take care of the 'personal attack above for you. This is some of what I'm referring to. Martial Law 21:56, 27 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, but he will just accuse me further of stalking... (grin) - Dyslexic agnostic 21:57, 27 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The Christmas Invasion[edit]

Um, what was that all about? --khaosworks (talkcontribs) 08:47, 2 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I object to the speedy deletion of Doctor Who: The Christmas Invasion, as this page and all Doctor Who episodes should properly bear the name in the title, either as "Doctor Who: X" or as "X (Doctor Who)" Dyslexic agnostic 08:49, 2 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! Two things: First, to move a page, please use the "move" tab instead of copy & pasting the contents over, and second,in regards to The Christmas Invasion, this has been changed back, and if you think that all Doctor Who stories should have a prefix, as you said, please bring it up at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Doctor Who Thanks!--Sean|Black 08:51, 2 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You can raise it at the Wikiproject, but I don't think you'll get very far. Having "Doctor Who" prefixed to every story is not correct because it's not a proper title, and the article titles are disambiguated with "(Doctor Who)" as a suffix where necessary. Have a look at Star Trek episodes, or Buffy episodes, or Babylon 5 episodes on Wikipedia. That's just not how it's done. --khaosworks (talkcontribs) 08:56, 2 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It makes no sense for some episodes (like The Reign of Terror (Doctor Who) to be named one way, and The Christmas Invasion another. Dyslexic agnostic 09:01, 2 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yes it does. It's called disambiguating. Anyway, we should be having this discussion at Wikipedia talk:Wikiproject Doctor Who. --khaosworks (talkcontribs) 09:03, 2 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Doctor Who episode naming[edit]

Hey, dyslexic agnostic. (Is there a shorter version of your name that you prefer?)

I was wondering if you were OK with the business about the naming of Doctor Who episode pages. Even though I disagreed with you about the naming issue (and thought you misinterpreted khaosworks' comment), upon reflection it looked a bit like you were being ganged up on. That's not cool, and I didn't want to scare you off from editing Doctor Who articles. I hope you understand the arguments being made, and the spirit in which they were intended (which I'm sure was not meant to be one of "gratuitous insult"). Best, Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 18:19, 4 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Josiah, thanks for the supportive message. I also understand the arguments for and against, although I admittedly was shocked at the fierceness of the comments. I did end up editing one of the serials, namely from 100,000 BC to 100,000 BC (Doctor Who), as this one should be identified properly. DA or Dys or DysAg is fine too! Dyslexic agnostic 20:44, 4 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I suppose that we scifi geeks and nerds can get a bit defensive at times. :) I was just worried that we had frightened you off, since you hadn't responded to the later comments. (Not that you need to!) And I do think that the move of 100,000 BC was a good one. See ya around the 'pedia! —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 21:18, 4 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

School redirect[edit]

Hence, seperate edits: one that closed the afd as a keep, one added the note that said so to the talk page, and then my personal view that it should be redirected. Anyone can make a redirect at any time, and AfD is non-binding in that regard.

I had only the slightest hope that it would stick, of course.

And your user name looked quite promising anagrammaticly, but "CYNICS DIG SEX A LOT" was the best I could come up with. Disappointing, I must be losing my edge. - brenneman(t)(c) 02:15, 9 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
