[edit]Hello, I'm Velella. I noticed that you recently removed all content from Langmuir probe in electron flow, with this edit, without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, I restored the page's content. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Velella Velella Talk 20:34, 29 July 2013 (UTC)
- @Velella:: That was a good faith attempt to delete the page after merging its content to Langmuir probe. I have tagged it for speedy deletion now.
- @E. V. Shun'ko: Thanks for merging the pages. You can't delete a page just by removing all the text on it. That might actually look like vandalism, in particular if you don't explain what you're doing in the edit summary. Only administrators can delete the page. I have marked it now so somebody will have a look shortly.
- I didn't have the time to have a closer look at Langmuir probe now, there might be some overlap between the original text and your addition. But anyway, I think it's good to have everything in one article and we can reduce redundancy there later, if needed. Thanks again! — HHHIPPO 21:07, 29 July 2013 (UTC)
I did look for possible overlapings and made small editions of my original text to avoid them to within my best look. Thanks for teaching me how I can work with my texts in Wikipedia. I am lerning. Yours Evgeny E. V. Shun'ko (talk) 21:22, 29 July 2013 (UTC)
- After you perform a merge, you can turn the old page into a redirect page--Kkmurray (talk) 21:13, 15 October 2014 (UTC)
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Faraday cup in plasma diagnostics with this edit, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Jamesx12345 22:45, 29 July 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Faraday cup, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Faraday (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

[edit]Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Plasma parameters may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s and 1 "{}"s likely mistaking one for another. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

[edit]I flagged two of your Wikimedia Commons images: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:ShunkoDBDFig5.tif and https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:I-V_Ar_20_2000_z16.tif . If you signed away the copyright to a journal, you can't upload them even if you made the figure yourself. For the first image, you might be able to save it if you can get permission from your co-author. --Kkmurray (talk) 19:43, 16 October 2014 (UTC)
O'k! I am going to send you permission from my co-author for the firs image and exchange the second image for new one ASAP. Regards 216.144.195.213 (talk) 20:02, 16 October 2014 (UTC)
Dear Kkmurray: You can unflag the File: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:I-V_Ar_20_2000_z16.tif which I checked precisely in my folders and found that I did created it specially for Wikipedia and NEVER PUBLISHED! Concerning File: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:ShunkoDBDFig5.tif , I am going to send you permission from my co-author ASAP. 216.144.195.213 (talk) 20:51, 16 October 2014 (UTC)
- You need to get permission through the OTRS System - see [1]: "OTRS confirmation of permission or authorship is usually required ... When a work by a professional is uploaded by someone with a user name or other mannerisms that suggests in good-faith that they may be the person who created it." --Kkmurray (talk) 21:34, 16 October 2014 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
